Walking down a narrow woodland pathway teased with the sounds and smells of the sea, desperately wanting to arrive at that point where the path opens out and suddenly reveals the rocks, sand and water below it.

A special place with complex rock strata that has always stolen my attention. The shapes, colours and patterns within have provided a constant source of inspiration and form the basis for my smoke fired vessels. Sea like pods with their natural, chance led markings from seaweed, sawdust and salt.
